About Creator
I am Sara, founder of Baluzini&co. – designer, pattern maker, and the creative soul behind every detail you see here.
Naturally creative, I have a deep reverence for the art of 'savoir-faire'. I find my sanctuary in working with my hands; for me, there is nothing more rewarding than bringing the imaginary to life by creating entirely from scratch.
An artistic flair is my family heritage, but my true passion for sewing was ignited the day my mother gifted me my first Singer machine.
For a long time, I as a self-taught maker, driven by a restless curiosity that eventually led me to the fascinating world of garment construction. It was here that my dream took root: I earned my degree in Design and later specialised in Pattern Making.
Captivated by the magic of things that fit in the palm of your hand, I decided to challenge myself by merging two worlds: translating the technical rigour of a full-sized garment into a miniature scale.
Baluzini&co. was born from a need to slow down and elevate every detail. This project is about much more than creating timeless little friends; my mission is to share experiences and give you back the joy of making something with your own hands. Because, truly:
